What Schools Receive

• A fully funded, licensed mental health professional placed on campus

• Up to $25,000 in principal-directed funding over 5 years ($5,000/year)

• All recruitment, training, and ongoing support handled by SBHSN

 

Who Should Apply

• Public, charter, and private schools serving grades 6–12

• Enrollment: 500+ students

• 70%+ Free/Reduced Lunch

• High rates of absenteeism, behavioral issues, or social-emotional challenges

 

Why This Matters

• 1 in 5 students faces a mental health disorder annually

• Most receive no support—especially in underserved communities

• Schools are the #1 access point for early intervention

 

What We Expect from You

• Appoint a Grant Coordinator to act as liaison

• Join periodic calls with SBHSN to review progress
